Boston Red Sox fans are no strangers to victory. Over
the past ten years, the team has won three World Series Championships —
in 2004, 2007 and now in 2013. But this year was different for a couple
of reasons. One: this was the first time since 1918 that the Red Sox won
the World Series in their hometown at legendary Fenway Park. Two: this
year’s win wasn’t just for the fans or the team; it was for all of
Boston who suffered tragedy in April with the Boston bombings.
