The halftime show at this years Super Bowl with the Red Hot Chili Peppers put Axl Rose in a bit of a fit.
As RHCP bassist Flea admitted, the bands instruments
were not plugged in for the performance. Anthony Keidis’ vocals were
live, but due to tight time constraints and concern that something might
go wrong, the NFL’s conditions stated that music would be pre-recorded.
