Well Placed


Dispersed over 40 local sites, FiberPhiladelphia brings artists and educators together to explore the art of woven materials taking aim at the conventions of textile art. At the Philadelphia Art Alliance, guest curator Bruce D. Hoffman presents “A Sense of Place,” in which eight female textile artists explore the theme of location using materials ranging from cloth made from tree bark to expired credit cards, as in “House of Cards” by Amy Orr.
